Current technological advancement has changed many objects and conventional measuring systems are replaced by digital. As a solution a scale has been redesigned based on Archimedes Principle focusing it use mainly in the kitchen. The mechanism is very simple and it works by measuring the volume of water expelled finding the weight of the product to be weighed.

 

So first you have to turn the two containers to introduce them to the rails, then put the water in the outer container until the water level reaches zero. And finally put the product you want to weigh inside the containers. The recommended maximum limit of weighting are up to 2 kg. and precision of measurement is 100gr.
